The Vista Chamber Business and Technology Expo

Join me at the Vista Chamber's third annual Business and Technology Expo and Taste of Vista being held Wednesday, Nov. 1, from 3 to 7 p.m. at 3215 Executive Ridge (at Poinsettia Ave.) in the Vista Business Park. This year's Expo will have a record 119 exhibitors this year, up from 80 in 2005. This makes the Vista Expo the largest in North San Diego County this year. Organizers expect a crowd of 1,000 people to attend.

The Vista Chamber's Business and Technology Expo will include a Technology Pavilion with six free seminars from 3:30 to 6 p.m. No RSVP is necessary, although seating is limited. The Expo will be held Wednesday, Nov. 1, from 3 to 7 p.m. at 3215 Executive Ridge in the Vista Business Park.

I'll be podcasting the Tech Pavilion Seminars, as well as interviewing many of the sponsors and exhibitors. Look for me...of course, I'll be wearing my hat!

Wow, what an evening. Terry Hall of Business Mastery Network held a business expo on Tuesday, October 17th. There were approximately 60 small businesses in the exhibition.

Proposition P, Interview with John Roach Carlsbad School Superintendent

Interview with John Roach, Carlsbad Unified School District Superintendent on Proposition P, raising property taxes for the renovation of many of our schools. The District's site has a lot of valuable information on it about the proposition.

Even though I'm an empty nester now, I'm willing to think about the "greater good" and vote yes, in support of the proposition. It's about our future, whether it's making sure our great schools attract business to our community, keep our property rates strong and providing the best education to our kids as possible.

The Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce has come out against Proposition E.

So far, I've been unable to locate Mr. Alvarez, proponent of Proposition E.
